Springfield Cottage - Cosy Medieval Hall House

Springfield Cottage is a few steps away from the centre of Chagford, a unique and historic town on Dartmoor. One of oldest properties in the town, it is a warm and welcoming house full of period features dating back to medieval times, including a large inglenook fireplace. A small frontage with lots behind! It has all modern comforts including a fully equipped kitchen and a separate wet-room style shower room with under-floor heating. Off-road parking (better suited to small to mid sized cars).

We are 5 minutes from the A30 making it the perfect location to stop off on the way to and from Cornwall, or to explore the moors and best of Devon Being part of the hotel, you can also make use of our facilities and enjoy AA rosette meals if you wish!

Set in the heart of Dartmoor National Park with direct access onto the open moor, South Creaber Stables is an idyllic retreat and the perfect holiday spot from which to explore Dartmoor and Devon. Dogs and horses are very welcome too. 4 undercover stalls adjacent to your accommodation are available and 7 acres of grazing. Part of a Grade II listed farmhouse, the accommodation is a self-contained suite within the main house, with its own driveway, parking area, entrance and hallway.

The Barn, West Ford Farm

The Barn is part of an historic farmstead. It was built from cob and stone in the 18th century and sits in a peaceful valley, a lovely place to get away from it all and enjoy the glorious Devon country side. It is on the edge of Dartmoor and next to the Two Moors Way. The pretty village of Drewsteignton is a couple of miles away with it's pub The Drewe Arms. The National Trust's Castle Drogo is half a mile beyond that. The Drogo Estate has beautiful walks along the River Teign

The Stables at Ramsley Farm

The Stables at Ramsley Farm sits up at Ramsley Common (a former Copper Mine) and enjoys incredible far reaching views of Dartmoor & Exmoor. Stroll onto Dartmoor from our doorstep or in a few minutes walk, enjoy the warm local village communities and amenities (inc. numerous pubs!) We’re a walkers paradise and welcome dogs. Contact us if you want to bring horses. The Stables has recently been renovated. It’s a stylish, unique property echoing the character of the Farmhouse.

This special cottage is situated in the grounds of author Doris Lessing's Devon longhouse and has been lovingly renovated to provide stylish, comfortable accommodation. It is situated in a secluded spot on the moors yet close to essential amenities and the quaint village of Belstone boasts a cosy pub, a delicious tea room and fantastic walks. Heated by a biomass boiler it retains many original features such as a large flagstoned hallway and original fireplace.

We are on the fringes of Dartmoor on a family run hill farm. Whether you wish to explore the wilderness of the moors or hibernate in the cosy warmth of the cabin, this home away from home will keep you close to nature. Roughly 500m from the open moorland and within 50m of public footpaths, we are in a prime location for exploring and walking, close to woods and rivers and 3 miles from the town of Chagford. The cabin will sleep up to 4 in two double beds.
