A 1940's cottage right in the heart of quaint downtown East Tawas. East Tawas is located on Michigan’s Sunrise Side. The area is well known for its sparkling turquoise waters and clean public sandy beaches. Just two blocks to Newman St and you can enjoy local shopping and dining or the ice cream and chocolate shops, and the 1935 historic movie theater. Bring your boat and enjoy Lake Huron or catch some fish for dinner. Kayaks and canoes can be put in at various spots along the Au Sable River.

Our home is about 6 blocks from Lake Huron and just minutes to downtown shopping, restaurants, beaches, parks, boat launches and more. Patti's Getaway is only: about 8 miles from Tawas Point State Park (good place to bird watch) , about 12 miles from Corsair Trails, about 15 miles form Iargo Springs and Lumbermen's Memorial, just to name a few places.

Our cabin has been in our family over 40 years, this is our first time hosting our beloved home. We hope you find it charming, comforting and a place to build beautiful memories. Completely renovated 1 bedroom upstairs apartment only 5 blocks from Main street with all new flooring, paint, furniture, appliances, cabinets, you name it. This location puts you in the middle of it all, easy walking distance to downtown ( .4 miles), Dow gardens ( .5 miles), the Midland Country Club ( 1.2 miles) or the Loons Dow Diamond ( 0.9 miles). Can sleep 2 to 4 guests with a comfortable full bed and pull out couch. No tv, but WiFi is provided.
