Pretty cottage situated on the village green in the heart of Castleton village. Open fire for creating a cosy night in & perfect for exploring the beautiful North Yorkshire Moors. Castleton is lucky to have two great pubs The Downe Arms with fabulous food and atmosphere right across the road and The Eskdale which serves lovely ‘fine dining food’ but also lovely just for a drink. There’s the Old Chapel Tearoom, a Londis & ‘Off the Scale’ shop We are also along the Esk Valley train line to Whitby

Avenue House, in the North York Moors National Park, is a self-contained cottage - 2 bedrooms (1 double bed and 2 single beds), shower room, dining/kitchen, utility, living room. Dbl futon in living room. Oven, induction hob, fridge, microwave, air fryer, toaster, washing machine. Wood burning stove to enjoy, large TV and Roku. A walkers/cyclists' paradise, wildlife aplenty, or just relax. Near the Yorkshire coast, Whitby, NYM steam railway & mkt towns of Pickering, Kirkbymoorside and Malton.

Runswick Bay - Top Gallant - with great sea views

(Please note airbnb now have all in one pricing). Top Gallant is down the hill - in the Bay. The Bay is a small clutch of largely whitewashed cottages. We have a great south facing veranda with amazing views. The cottage faces south with views right across the bay. Bedding and towels provided. Free parking pass for the (“Homeowners car park). 3 nights minimum booking. No Pets. The property is not suitable for mobility problems due to steps. Check in 3pm. Check out 10.30am.

Keepers Cottage Egton Bridge

Keepers Cottage is part of the Old Mill, and is a highly commended cottage located at Egton Bridge, which is a North York Moors National Park conservation area, on the coast to coast path near to the coastal town of Whitby and ideal for exploring the moors, the Yorkshire Coast, including Scarborough, Bridlington, Sandsend, Runswick Bay and Robin Hoods Bay. In addition Malton, Pickering and the City of York. North York Moors is officially designated as Dark Skies Reserve right on our door step.

The Smithy at Cross Pipes, Goathland

The Smithy is a self contained stone built cottage situated on the edge of the beautiful North Yorkshire Moors. It was built in the 1800’s and was originally one of two blacksmiths serving the community of Goathland. The Smithy offers you a comfortable base to visit the local area. Spacious studio accommodation with a king sized bed in a recessed area, walk in shower and toilet, full kitchen facilities, wood burning stove, TV and Wi-Fi. One bedroomed holiday home on a dairy farm.

This self contained holiday cottage offers a chance to get closer to the workings of a family dairy farm. It is situated in the North York Moors National Park, midway between the moors and the coast and just a fifteen minute drive (or slightly longer bus ride) from Whitby. The accomodation is unusually spacious for a one bedroomed cottage, it is light, warm and very well insulated but don’t forget there is the potential for noise and smells from the farm!
