The Carriage House: Beautiful Farmland Views.

The Carriage House is the second floor of our cedar stables that was turned into an apartment years ago. It was completely redone this spring and professionally decorated to make it a cozy + luxe retreat with views to die for. While we no longer use the stables to house animals we still keep a few head of cattle + sheep in the pasture for your enjoyment. The wall of windows along the back of the apartment offer you the most stunning views of the surrounding farmland and an unforgettable sunrise.

The Cottage at Legacy Manor is a unique space featuring one bedroom and one bath, perfect for a romantic escape or a solo retreat. The Cottage offers a cozy living space with a king-sized bed, 1 bath, a full kitchen, and a dedicated outdoor area with fire pit and charcoal grill,(firewood & grilling supplies are provided). The apartment is located on the property of the historic Witmer Estate. This 2nd floor apartment (above garage) offers a Smart TV, WIFI, King bed, an suite bath, a spacious living room and kitchen, a small desk area if you plan to work during your stay. The home is located near Amish attractions, Intercourse, Bird in Hand, Strasburg all within a few minutes drive. 20 minutes to Downtown Lancaster. Shopping and the outlets also within 10 minutes drive. Outdoor patio area w picnic table & lights.

FYI -If you are bringing your pet, the fee is $5 per night for extra cleaning .We love longer stays and offer a 5% discount for 7 days and 10% for 30 days! Come relax and enjoy the view!
