Get back to the basics in a peaceful cozy cabin at FoxFire in Vanderpool. Enjoy reconnecting with nature with a walk or swim in the Sabinal River, hike at Lost Maples Park, birdwatching, or enjoying the stars and a campfire at night! 2 Bedroom 1 bath fully furnished comfy cabins. No Tvs or Microwave but WiFi, campfire ring, BBQ grill full kitchen/bath with outdoor picnic area. The grounds also have a playground, basketball goal, volleyball net, and river access. Family and pet friendly!

"Amadeo" is a secluded 9 acre get away on Saddle Mountain all to yourself, not shared. 2 cabins with 2 full baths & glorified outhouse/shower by salt water pool & spa. Outdoor lounging, covered dining areas, game area, star gazing by the fire pit. We are located 1 mile from river crossing, 5 mins from town, 10 mins from Garner. Beautiful sunsets and view of the hills, also hiking. Each cabin has queen bed, full loft, full futon couch, covered porches. We also love our guests’ fur babies!

Rustic cabin on over 10 acres with the wet weather Sabinal River (contact us for water levels if this is a concern) along the back surrounded by beautiful oak amd cypress trees. A natural playscape, porch swings, grill, wildlife, all the perfect makings for a fantastic getaway. Just a one minute drive to Utopia but also great proximity to Garner State Park and Lost Maples State Natural Area for great hiking, swimming, etc. Great location to enjoy all the Texas Hill Country has to offer.

Charming 100+ yr old ranch house on 40 private acres with great views and live creek access. Secluded & private. No neighbors. Large patio & fenced back yard are guest favorites, great for kids/pets. Excellent star gazing, bird watching, scenic views. We use this home ourselves and have young kids, so it is stocked way better than most rentals and (relatively) kid friendly. Near Lost Maples Park (8 min), Garner Park (30 min), Utopia (10 min), Leakey (20 min), Medina (20 min).

Close by, you can enjoy floating or swimming in the Frio River and the Sabinal River at the Utopia Park. Utopia has a renowned golf course featured in the movie Seven Days in Utopia. You are invited to hike and explore over 500 acres of our 1000 acre century ranch and enjoy the great outdoors in privacy. The Frio and Sabinal Rivers are but a short distance away. This cabin makes for the perfect romantic getaway, or bring the kids to explore our ranch. You can unplug or use our wifi to log on!

Private cottage on secluded 76 acre working organic farm. Hiking, stargazing, birding, gardens, greenhouse, solar, and rain water. Horses and well behaved dogs welcome $10 per night each, limit 2. Keep dogs leashed outside; dogs not allowed on furniture. Our horses not for hire. Swimming, State Parks nearby: Garner, 22miles, 30 minutes. Concan, 30 miles, 35 min. Lost Maples, 12 miles 16 minutes TV, DVD player. WiFi. AT&T cell, other carriers expect no service.

Just 3.5 miles south of Lost Maples SNA, big tooth maples and live oaks surround the cottage, providing shade and privacy. (Our home is nearby.) Birding, dark skies close by. Across the road, our “beach” offers privacy and a natural view of the Sabinal River. Progressive owners, our mantra is "make yourselves at home!" In business since 1994, we are just real people accommodating real people. How does that sound? (Sorry, No TV. And, please, no pets.)
