Entire- Cozy Chequamegon Home

Escape suburbia at our quaint farm style house about a mile from Lake Superior and about 1/2 mile from Northland College. Guests describe our home as cozy & reminiscent of visiting their favorite coffee shop. The house offers 4 bedrooms, 1 full bathroom on the second floor & a half bath on the main floor. A portable crib is available for infants (30 1b max). Please note that we are in the process of having baseboards milled by a local crafts person who is also installing them when we are closed.

The Baron on 4th Street

Stately home perfect for large group. Located a few blocks from Main St & Lk Superior. Bayfield has yearround appeal for the outdoor adventurist or stay in and relax by the fire. Built in 1912 by a prominent lumber baron its been well cared for and updated with a new kitchen. 4 BR, 3 baths. Fire place in living room. Fenced yard has deck, grill, fire pit. Small dogs welcome for $60 fee each (max 2) Elegant enough for a romantic weekend, yet still comfortable for families and outdoor enthusiasts.

The MacArthur House

Four generations of our family have resided at The MacArthur House. Formally a farm house it is a quaint & charming home with many of its original features. The kitchen has a chalkboard that came from one of the local schools. The house is located in a quiet residential neighborhood in close proximity to the local schools,colleges & hospital. We are licensed. We love animals, but we do not invite pets to stay on our property. We also do not allow smoking, or tobacco anywhere on our property.

Bayfield Rustic Yurt 2 (Terra Cotta)

Nestled in the middle of the Bayfield County Forest, this rustic, minimally maintained yurt has direct access to miles of non-motorized rec trails (CAMBA single track & Mt Ashwabay nordic ski/ hiking trails). Enjoy panoramic views of Lake Superior including, Pike's Bay, four of the Apostle Islands (Madeline, Basswood, Stockton & Michigan) & the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. Come prepared to relax, unwind & explore the wonders of the north woods. Yurt access walk in only & is 3/4 mile uphill.

Our one of a kind artist's home, has a long view of Lake Superior and short views of woods and meadows. Watch the sunrise over the lake and enjoy this home that is open and filled with natural light. Away form the bustle of towns and crowds, meet Meet Rose, our caretaker, she keeps the grounds beautiful for you. She lives onsite and separate Explore Bayview Beach, just down the road. Arrange sailing, kayaking or ferry to Madeline.island in Bayfield . Eat in, or away, You will love it.

The Onion River Tavern House near Bayfield

Located ten minutes from Bayfield and Washburn, this is a casual, comfortable, and welcoming 2-bedroom located across the highway from Lake Superior and the Apostle Islands. Once a tavern, named for the Onion River that flows nearby, this rental has a spacious kitchen & living area & 3rd bed in the hallway. Easy, plentiful parking. Artesian spring water. Less than a mile from best beach in the region, Mt. Ashwabay ski hill, Big Top Chautauqua & biking & hiking trails. We are pet friendly.

Norrsken Scandinavian Cottage

The guest cottage is painted to resemble a Scandinavian retreat. Complete with separate bedroom, extra fold-out sofa queen bed, kitchenette, wood burning stove, WiFi (the best we can find but not great!!!) and large television (DirecTV), it is a great getaway for a couple or a family. Owners live on property if you need anything. If you are a bit adventurous, we can put up a tent right next to Lake Superior. The entire property is smoke free. For a quiet stay, no snowmobiles or ATVs.

Bungalow (House) on Chequamegon Bay.

This newly renovated fully furnished home is located within one block from beautiful Chequamegon Bay, Ashland's Oredock Pier, walking and bike trail, boat ramp, and beach. Grab a pole and head down to fish off the Ashland Oredock pier, or pack up for picnic at the beach, launch your boat, kayak or canoe. Take a walk, bike, or run on the walking trails. It is short walk to a few local restaurants and the downtown area. Access snowmobile trails. No pets are allowed.

Up North Oasis | Families & Dogs in Bayfield Area

This Up North Oasis is blocks from Lake Superior beaches and 10 miles from Bayfield or Ashland. Gather around the kitchen island, share meals in the large dining room, and relax in the spacious living room. Outdoor front porch with rocking chairs and the fenced-in backyard has beach sand, firepit, and a propane grill on the deck. This house is ready for big groups & the joyful rumpus only dogs & kids can bring to the party.

The Long House

My place is close to Lake Superior and the Apostle Islands It is located 2 miles north of Washburn or 10 miles south of Bayfield. Peaceful country setting, the long house is a freshly remodeled mobile home. Sorry, no pets. I have increased the number of guests to six . There are 4 double beds in the cabin. If you are booking with more than 4 guests, please allow for this. Thanks you! Open June 1 - mid October

Romantic Vineyard Cabin, Sauna, Plunge Pool

Come and celebrate all that Bayfield has to offer at this quiet vineyard and forest getaway, just 2 miles from downtown. Located in Bayfield's charming Fruit Loop, you'll be surrounded by vines, forest, orchards, and berry farms. The Scandinavian cabin, forest facing sauna with plunge pool, and vineyard sit within acres of secluded woods. The cabin has an occupancy limit of 2 adults and one dog. There is a $40 pet fee.
