Conveniently situated just 750m from the sandy beaches of Holland-on-Sea, it takes less than 10 minutes to stroll down to the seafront. The Forge is set in the countryside of Tendring, a 6 minute journey by car to the beach Clacton On Sea. We have always been inspired by Tiny houses so we created our own compact bijou, a warm open space building that can sustain a 2 meter foot print set in the grounds of our country cottage. The accommodation is finished to a high standard and is completely new inside & out with light soft furnishings and a contemporary floral design bed linen to help you relax and enjoy a good night's sleep.

The beaches of Frinton on Sea, Walton on the Naze, Clacton and Holland on Sea are all within 15 mins drive. Manningtree, Dedham Vale, Wivenhoe, Colchester are all within 30 mins. Walkable to the local village of Thorpe Le Soken with its 3 pubs. Wake up to beautiful countryside views from your double bed with luxury linen bedding.

Country view annex-For Harwich Ferry, pet friendly

Forget your worries in this calm space. Our annex is detached from the main house and you have the run of the whole place. Set on 1/2 acre of land in the sweet countryside of Tendring Village with lovely farmland views. There is parking on a large drive. Please enjoy our spacious green garden where our chickens roam free. There's lots of walk’s nearby, including beaches just 15-20 mins drive. There is 1 large bedroom with double bed, with 3 small folding beds available on request.

Bijou cabin next to the sea

The cabin lies in the grounds of the hosts main dwelling which is situated within 200 yards of Frinton's spectacular greensward and beautiful sandy beaches. The cabin is within a very leisurely 10-15 mins walk to the facilities of both Frinton and Walton where there is an abundance of shops, cafes, eating establishments and entertainment. Further afield and depending on your interests there are many other outstanding places to visit which I'd be only too happy to discuss with you.

Now with super-fast Fibre Max internet, The Beach House is situated on the Essex Sunshine Coast, right on the bank of a tidal creek with stunning views of the sea in front and the river behind. Being in the Nature Reserve, we cannot accept dogs or pets of any kind; sorry. We do not let to groups; we only let to families or two couples maximum. Absolutely no groups of more than four guests or parties of any kind. High tide sometimes cuts off the house so please be aware of this.

Self Contained Studio in Wivenhoe

Tuck away next to the Wivenhoe woods (upper Wivenhoe), this lovely self-contained studio flat provides comfortable accommodation throughout. The studio is on a cul-de-sac, with its own entrance. It is just a short walk to the University of Essex via Wivenhoe Public pathway. The the train station is also only 15 minute walk away through the Wivenhoe trail. Ideal for 1-2 guests, but a baby or small chid is welcome (providing that you bring your own travel cot & bedding with you).

Passes are needed for above, see reception for prices. 2 well behaved dogs allowed £25 per stay, please add to your booking. Please bring throws and towels. Please keep on lead and clear up any mess. The Former Exchange in the heart of St Osyth

The Former Exchange is a quirky bungalow tucked away in the heart of St Osyth village. Ideal for a couple or a small family, comprising a master bedroom with ensuite, a second bedroom with single bed and a small family bathroom. A fourth person could be accommodated on a sofa bed, on request. Open plan living and kitchen areas, lend a light and airy feel, with bi-folding doors opening onto a small private garden.
