Our quaint town, 8 miles north of Mt. Washington, is a prime location for everything outdoors: year round HIKING, (1.7 miles to AT) & BIKING trails, 100s of groomed ATV/snowmobile trails, swim, fish, canoe, kayak and tube the pristine rivers, waterfalls & emerald pools and SKI THE SKI RESORTS within 10-30 miles. The small town of Gorham caters to tourists: a dozen great restaurants, antique & gift shops, railroad museum, opera house & town common all within easy walking distance of the studio.

This log-style retreat sits deep in the woods above Tamworth, fully equipped for comfort without sacrificing the rugged feel. Hike local trails, stargaze in near-zero light pollution, or sit by the fire pit with the mountains in front of you. The optional wood-fired sauna steps from the door is the perfect end to the day. Sauna available as a one-time add-on.

Close enough to spend the day enjoying all the local activities, but just outside all the hustle to have a quiet relaxing fire in the woods. Cranmore Mountain Resort and Saco river is 2 miles down the road for all your skiing/snowboarding, mountain biking, tubing and adventures! Hiking, ATVing, sight seeing, skiing, fishing, kayaking, all right here! This cozy suite is within walking distance to the town center which has a beautiful park and good eating and drinking. There is plenty of parking and ATV's are welcome. Sleeps 4 with a full sized bed and sleeper sofa!
