Wrenwood is a beautifully presented, riverside cottage in the quaint historic town of Clare. At over 250 years old and recently renovated, it is the perfect place for a relaxing break. Situated along a quiet footpath, next to the River Stour and a few minutes' walk from the High Street, it is conveniently placed to explore the delights of the Suffolk and Essex countryside. With its inglenook fireplaces, exposed beams and cosy rooms, it exudes country charm.

In the centre of mediaeval Clare, next to the Clare Country Park and river, Spring Cottage provides the perfect setting for you to explore the local area. The house has a sitting room, kitchen and a charming courtyard garden with small pond. Excellent cafes, restaurants, pubs, supermarkets, unique shops and antiques are all within 100 yards. Upstairs are a double and single bedroom, and a bathroom with separate bath and power shower.

Enjoy your stay in the newly converted Ugley Coachhouse. The house is on a very quiet lane and is perfect for a relaxing break in the countryside. The village of Stansted and the small town of Saffron Walden are a short drive away as is Bishop's Stortford and Stansted Airport. Perfect for day trips to Cambridge or London. Family and pet friendly.

The Studio

The Studio is a light, airy modern single story self contained dwelling attached to our cart lodge that is within the garden of our cottage. The area is semi rural and quiet but within easy walking distance (about 5 minutes) of Clare town. We also provide basics like towels, tea/coffee/milk at the beginning for each stay.
