Cherish time with loved ones. Hike along the creek, woodlands and fields. Enjoy the plentiful birds and wildlife. Bring your bike in the summer, and snow shoes in the winter. Cozy up to the wood stove with a hot beverage. Work remotely with our high speed WiFi. We welcome up to two dogs for an additional fee.

Country location, peaceful and quiet. Apartment above detached garage, full kitchen, small deck and private stairway with beautiful view of the surrounding trees. Easily accessible, 3 miles from I-94 and St. Hwy. 29, 1/2 way between the university cities of Eau Claire and Menomonie, 1 1/4 hours from St. Paul/Minneapolis. There is a growing art and music scene, with multiple music festivals, etc. The area also has fine restaurants, theaters, parks, and historical sites. Come to be restored.

Water's Edge House on Tainter Lake

Gorgeous little house with cap cod feel, right on the water. We call this baby "Water's Edge on Tainter Lake". Perfect way for a quick escape from the Twin cities, only 50 minutes away. Fish off the permanent dock on the water. Beautiful views and sunsets on a fun, active recreational lake. Short boat ride to Jake's super club. Some guests say its a "private location", but we are on a very active lake with houses close by. Please read our "other details to note" for more info.

This retro, but modern A-frame cabin is tucked neatly into a wooded hillside, overlooking a peaceful river, near Menomonie, WI. ~1 hour from the Twin Cities. The space has been revived by lovers of architecture, design and the great outdoors as a quiet getaway for couples or friends looking to slow down and reconnect. 25 minutes from Menomonie (UW-Stout), 45 minutes to Eau Claire, 1 hr 15 minutes to MN. Kamshire Valley's Main Cabin offers an abundance of wildlife viewing, an inviting large brick patio and firepit, miles of trails for snowshoeing, hiking and cross-country skiing. Has 1 bedroom with Queen bed; If you need more rooms we have 2 additional rustic cabins (air, heat-no bathroom) that are available for additional $50/ cabin/night. The best nature has to offer, bring your camera!

This newly built 1000 square foot chalet, inspired by Swiss architecture, is located just over an hour east of the Twin Cities or twenty miles north of Menomonie, Wisconsin. Relax and enjoy a secluded residence in the woods. The chalet is located next to a 200-acre operational organic farm. Meander through the farm to watch certified organic beef cattle grazing, discover the artwork of beavers, and enjoy observing the geese and sandhill cranes in the air and on the water.

One of kind stay! Perfect for two couples or a large group. Two bedrooms have queen beds and a back bunk room has 3 twin size and 1 full size bed. Big kitchen/living room area. There is a unique 4 seasons room with hammocks in the center of the apartment that is smoker friendly. Right downtown and above a friendly pub.
