Cob Cottage

Channel the pursuit of pause in this one-of-a-kind earth house. The cozy retreat was hand-sculpted using local and sustainable natural materials, and features a central living space with cantilevered slab stairs leading to the loft bedroom. Guests have access to the entire cottage and surrounding property. We live in the neighbouring house, and are happy to give advice or answer questions to help you make the most of your stay. The neighborhood is quite rural and mostly agricultural with several farms and a small private vineyard. The home is a 10 minute walk from the beach and a 20 minute walk from a family grocery and deli specializing in local organic produce. Mayne Island has a small community bus. Times and routes are limited, particularly in the winter. It will stop at the driveway. We also have an official hitch hiking system with signed Car Stops where you can wait for a ride. Usually you don't have to wait long. We are happy to offer pickup and drop off at the ferry dock as a courtesy to encourage car-free travellers, on days when the community bus is not running. Please let us know ahead of time that you'll be coming without your own transportation, and we will make sure that either we or the community bus (which will drop you off at our driveway) are there to meet you when your ferry arrives. The BC Ferries terminals near Victoria and Vancouver are easily reachable via public transit from their respective airports and downtowns.

Jordan River Cabin

All the comforts of a modern cabin in our newly built "Jordan River Cabin" nestled amongst 3 acres of tall evergreens with floor to ceiling window views. Fire up the BBQ on the wrap around deck. Wood stove comes supplied with kindling & firewood. Open concept, fully stocked kitchen with everything you need. Fresh towels & linens for 2 king size bedrooms & 2 rain shower bathrooms, a huge soaker bathtub upstairs, a hot outdoor rain shower + wood fired cedar hot tub & a newly added meditation deck!

Forest Hideout

Our tiny cabin is located on a 14 acres property in the middle of the woods. You will enjoy complete privacy and use of your own area on the land, including a pond. Located 2 min, from the Transcanada Trail, 20 min. walk to the Kinsol Trestle, a World Heritage Site with beautiful swimming holes right underneath the bridge. 20 min. to next Grocery store and 22-25 min to Duncan. Approx. 50 min- 1 hr to Victoria. Pottery lessons are available by request if you have always wanted to try it out.

The Rad Shack

Aloha, Brahs, Wahines and those in between-y's! Welcome to The Rad Shack, your gnarly hideaway in the heart of Mother Nature's most epic playground. If you're lookin' to ride the ultimate wave of relaxation and adventure, this is where it's at. Situated in the middle of a lush, most-excellent forest, imagine waking up to the sound of the waves crashin' in the distance, as you take in the sweet scent of saltwater and cedar. This ain't your average shack, this is a slice of Westcoast heaven!

Cozy Corner Cottage, fully covered large deck.

Our Cosy Corner Cottage is a perfect place to unwind and escape the craziness of everyday life. Nestled in a private, corner lot, the cottage features the largest, fully covered deck in the complex. Complete with BBQ, infrared heater to take the chill off, and plenty of spaces to relax and to curl up with a book or play games. The lovely yard has areas to relax and a firepit for a campfire under the stars. Located in walking distance to beaches , both marinas, the restaurants and store.

Rustic TreeHaus Cabin | Hot Tub & Sauna Hideaway

Nestled among the evergreens, the TreeHaus Cabin offers a rustic and cozy forest retreat at Olympic Holiday Haus. This cabin-style space provides a peaceful place to relax while enjoying shared access to the saltwater hot tub beneath the cedars, custom dry sauna, fire pit gathering space, covered outdoor kitchen and bar, and backyard lawn. Please note this cabin does not include a shower. If you are looking for a rustic Pacific Northwest experience, this is where stays become stories.

See the ocean sights then come home and enjoy the sunshine and views from your deck. Explore your yard which includes a cedar keg sauna and a jacuzzi surrounded by palm and bamboo trees. The Surf- Ocean Front-By the Beach- Outdoor Bath

Ocean front West Coast retreat located 40 meters above the surf, bordering China Beach. Enjoy beach fires, forest walks, hiking, mushroom forging and surfing. A short intermediate private trail will take you down to the beach. The 560 square foot cabin is set back on the property, offering spectacular panoramic views of the Juan de Fuca Straight. Cozy up by the wood fire in this cozy 1 king bed cabin or have a bath in the outdoor tub and enjoy the breathtaking views!

Ocean Front Boutique Studio Suite - "OShaun Aire"

Feel energized or soothed by the Juan de Fuca Strait & fresh ocean air while enjoying this peaceful adult only retreat. Nothing is between you and the ocean but ocean air ! Beautiful rugged ocean front studio; a convergence of land, sea and sky providing uncompromised access to our stunning west coast location and all that it has to offer. A breathtaking panoramic view of the Olympic Mountains is your backdrop as you watch a variety of marine vessels pass by.

EAGLE CREST NEST

The Eagle Crest Nest has been recently remodeled and is located near beaches, the fishing village of Sekiu, Lake Ozette and Olympic National Park. The kitchen is fully equipped or you can barbecue outdoors. A flat screen TV, along with puzzles and games is available. NO WIFI on site - so unplug and relax. For the traveler, there is a washer and dryer. Fishermen will find a fish cleaning station and a small freezer along parking for your boat.

The Woodshed

Nestled among towering trees in Jordan River, BC, Woodshed is a serene wellness retreat designed for rest and renewal. Natural wood, clean lines, and expansive windows immerse you in the coastal forest. Unwind in a cedar sauna or hot tub after exploring nearby beaches, surf breaks, and scenic hikes. Warm, minimal, and calming—where forest sounds and ocean air create space to slow down, recharge, and reconnect with nature.

Ferngully Cabins: Cypress Cabin

Fern Gully is a tranquil nature retreat for many to enjoy. The cabins overlook a beautiful lush creek. It is a very private property with no wifi (cell service is in our area). We encourage guests to unplug and enjoy the quiet of BC's beautiful west coast. Minutes from the four private cabins lie many beaches and hikes. Private outdoor shower, washroom & firepit. This is a basic & rustic lodging experience!
