Enjoy feeling close to nature, warm up by the woodstove, or spot birds in the garden. Thistledown Cabin feels a world away from the city but is located close to Duncan, wineries, trails, and a 10 minute walk to Alderlea farm cafe.

Rosie's Studio

Rosie's Studio is a very special place decorated with original paintings by the late Salt Spring Island artist - Rosemaria Behncke. This large, unique cottage/studio is situated on a 25 acre farm in the peaceful south end of beautiful Saltspring Island, close to parks, beaches, Fulford Shops and the Ferry Terminal. Relax in this quiet pastoral setting and enjoy the sweep of the ocean out to volcanic Mount Baker. We welcome families with children and pets. Update: Emily the duck has passed.

Salt Spring Gite

Our "gite" is a self-contained 2 bedroom cottage in the most beautiful part of Salt Spring, the south eastern tip, near Ruckle Park. From our cottage, you can walk to this historic working farm and park, explore its forested trails, and then head to the many beach areas a short distance away. Visit farm stands and take the Studio Tour. Take a dip in one of many lakes. Climb Maxwell Mountain or stroll through the Saturday Market and other unique shops. Salt Spring is a true one of a kind.

Willowpond cottage~ tranquil horse farm by the sea

Adults only, comfy spacious cottage on a private setting! Close driving distance to parks, hiking, art and culture, great views, restaurants & the beaches. A light breakfast of organic granola and fruit in the fridge is offered, as well as teas, coffees, etc. The seaside farm is down the driveway where horses, sheep, chickens, cats, and a dog live. Feel free to wander. Come have a taste of West Ganges with amazing sunsets, Mt. Erskine hiking, Earth Candy market and Wild Cider, all nearby.

Deacon Hill Ocean View HotTub Suite on 10 Acres

South-facing, 300 square foot, self-contained room with a private hot tub and ocean view. Situated on 10 lovely acres near Dinner Bay park, this studio on the ground floor of the main house has a private entry through french doors off of the covered deck. Perfect for a couple (not suitable for children) or a solo Gulf Island getaway. There is no kitchen, but the room includes a small fridge with freezer, BBQ, microwave, toaster, coffee and tea. Restaurants and shops are a 10 min drive away.

A stay at the Granary comes with a tour of the Keating farm if you choose! Our guests have loved learning about the history and future of the farm. The cabin is designed for a cozy place to unwind, relax and be your Cowichan home base. Please note that April 25-May17 there will only be a passenger ferry to and from Lummi Island. Our farm is a peaceful respite from the harried pace of life most people contend with. We respect our guests' privacy, but are always available if needed. We strive to provide our guests with the same beauty, security and peace we have enjoyed on the island for 30 years. We encourage guests to enjoy the property, visit the chickens, and walk the orchards and flower & vegetable fields.

Alderlea Farm Modern Light Filled Farmhouse

The light filled farmhouse with cathedral ceilings has exquisite pastoral views of Glenora (Valley of Gold). No wonder it is called Golden Valley House! Visit the farm-to-table restaurant by day (Friday-Sunday from Mar-Sept.) or stargaze at night. Watch the farmers tend the vegetables while you cook up a meal in the spacious open kitchen. Biking and hiking trails and swimming within minutes. Family friendly! Vineyards close by, too. Hot yoga classes available on the farm, too.
