A warm welcome awaits

Our charming bedroom has a queen bed, sofa, bistro table and chairs and is close to beach access at Southey Point as in our cover pic.The bathroom has a newly installed shower, washbasin and composting toilet. There is a closet and an outside deck space. Although the space doesn’t have a kitchen, there is a fridge, kettle, coffee maker and toaster for the convenience of our guests and continental breakfast items are provided. We look forward to welcoming guests to this idyllic part of the world.

Cowichan Valley Forest Hideaway

Eyas Cabin, a 180 sq ft retreat nestled in the picturesque Cowichan Valley. Ravens Ridge is an extremely unique piece of property, set in a sunny clearing within our own forest we have a quiet and relaxing environment. Surrounded by wildlife this is a peaceful haven to artists, photographers, authors. However we also have great kayaking within 5 minutes walk, quiet roads for cycling, we have our own 18 hole disc golf course, hiking trails, fishing, swimming beaches, bays for wake boarding and other watersports. Ravens Ridge and Mayne Island has something for everyone!

Forest Hideout

Our tiny cabin is located on a 14 acres property in the middle of the woods. You will enjoy complete privacy and use of your own area on the land, including a pond. Located 2 min, from the Transcanada Trail, 20 min. walk to the Kinsol Trestle, a World Heritage Site with beautiful swimming holes right underneath the bridge. 20 min. to next Grocery store and 22-25 min to Duncan. Approx. 50 min- 1 hr to Victoria. Pottery lessons are available by request if you have always wanted to try it out.

Beachfront log cabin, Miners Bay, Mayne Island

Wake to the sound of waves on the beach, enjoy coffee overlooking Miners Bay, and spend the evening watching ferries glide through Active Pass from a beautifully restored 1900 log cabin. Fern Gully is a tranquil nature retreat for many to enjoy. The cabins overlook a beautiful lush creek. It is a very private property with no Wifi. A-Frame for Memories is a charming waterfront retreat on beautiful Galiano Island, just a short walk from the ferry terminal and Whaler Bay Marina. This cozy cabin sleeps up to 4 guests with a queen bed in the loft and a pullout sofa below. Enjoy stunning ocean views, relax on the spacious deck, or unwind in the hot tub overlooking the water. The perfect escape for couples, families, or anyone seeking peace, comfort, and the beauty of island life.

Rustic cabin in the woods

Mid-island, this rustic cabin is perfect for any couple (or small group) shacking up in the woods. Features a full kitchen inside, outhouse, outdoor shower, fire pit, covered porch & access to pebble beach trails, making this a magical retreat. Please note that while there is wi-fi at the cabin, there is no cell reception on the property, and many guests have mentioned that they’ve enjoyed the chance to unplug and connect with nature.

The Hideout

We have updated The Hideout and look forward to welcoming the world back at the end of summer 2025!! The Hideout grew from a vision we had when we moved to the Coast in 2020. With the desire to share our dream of living amongst the trees, tucked away from the world, The Hideout was created. Wrapped in hand milled cedar, fir and hemlock this space was designed to remind us to slow down, breathe deep and take it all in.

Galiano Cabin Hideaway

The cabin has a double bed plus a twin size guest bed on the main floor, very comfortable accommodation for two or three guests. It also has a self contained second bedroom and bath on the ground floor with its own private entrance that is ideal for sharing with one or two guests. There is a $125 per night fee for this additional bed and bath. Please contact the host if you wish to book this second bed and bath.
