Settle into a quaint farmhouse nestled in a valley in the rolling, forested hills of the Driftless Region. Start your day with a cup of local coffee on the front porch. Go on a long walk or bike ride, then return to the cottage to cook, play board games, listen the record collection or visit Viroqua (25 minutes) for a farm-to-table 5-star dinner, or check out local music. Build a warm fire outdoors/ warm up by the gas stove indoors, or go down to the stream for a sauna by the cool water creek.

This quiet neighborhood is walking distance from a grocery store, coffee shop, and other small businesses. Gundersen and Mayo Healthcare Systems, and the universities of UW-LaCrosse, Viterbo, and Western Tech, are minutes away.

There is plenty of space inside the cabin. The cabin contains two private rooms, one with a king size bed and the other with a queen bed. In the summer months there is also opportunity to camp, with 4 acres of luscious green space + some woodlands! Indoor fireplace, outdoor fire pit, and Traeger grill!

Enjoy a unique experience at this centrally-located home. Completely updated throughout including furniture, bedding, towels and kitchenware. Quiet neighborhood just minutes to downtown La Crosse and the movie theatre. Upon entering you are greeted with an open floorplan. All bedrooms are located on one level. The main bedroom sleeps 2. The cozy bedroom #2 sleeps 1. In the living room an oversized sectional has a pull out bed that sleeps 2. Pet fee is $25 with a maximum of 2.

La Crosse is super close to enjoy skiing/snowboarding. Goose Island is 5 minutes away. Great spot for bird watching, fishing, kayaking, boat launches, hiking or frisbee golf. Pets are welcome. We are on The Mighty Mississippi River. Your backyard. You can sit on your porch, shade deck, sun deck or walk out to the dock and enjoy your morning brew. In the evening you can sit out on the dock and view a beautiful sunset. Eagles are visitors to the area, as well as Great Blue Herons, river otters, muskrats, and varieties of ducks. Grapevine Log Cabins, based in Sparta WI, offers pet friendly cabin rentals on a family dairy farm. Amenities and activities include: a walking trail, bike trail, cows in pasture, indoor and outdoor fireplaces, grills outside (there is no cooking in the cabins), Air Conditioning, Heat and firewood is supplied. Nearby activities include: canoeing, fishing, 4 wheeling, antiquing, and superb scenic sites. Pet Policy: Pets may stay with you for an extra $25 per pet/night.

Close to Kwik Trip, Walgreens, Food and Animal Watching! 10 min. away from downtown and UWL! Faye's Place is my childhood home and is a small immersive experience.
