This probably isn't for you if you're looking for a serene, romantic getaway. It's comfortable, A/C, has a fabulous view, is centrally located for island adventures. Our renovated (in June 2023) suite is at the end of a no-through road and is only a 5-10 minute walk into the village to a fabulous, organic craft bakery, artisan shops, restaurants, a museum, a pub, a small grocery/liquor store and a popular ice cream/candy store. (Seasonal) kayak/paddle-board rentals & whale watching excursions for hire. Cowichan District Hospital 15 min drive.

Take a break in Lake Cowichan. Stay in this charming suite, on the river and within walking distance of the town centre. The suite has two extra-long twin beds which can be put together to form a king-size bed. The kitchen has everything you need, with a microwave convection oven and double steamer substituting for a stove. The little bathroom is perfect for after-swim showers, etc.. A frozen muffin for breakfast will be resentful supplied upon request to meet the town legal requirements.

While production fields are fenced, the rest remains natural, allowing wildlife to move through and drink from our two ponds.

Kayaking around Departure Bay is easy as the kayaks are kept just above the high tide mark, grab life jackets and paddles from the yoga room and you’re good to go. Later you can relax in the hot tub. All this 10 minutes from the shops and cafes of Nanaimo.

We're located oceanfront in beautiful Maple Bay near biking/hiking trails, Maple Bay beach, pubs and restaurants. This cozy Studio offers stunning views and is complete with a kitchenette, full-piece bathroom and a hot tub. Suite has its own private entrance. Kitchenette is equipped with a small fridge, induction stove top, convection oven/microwave/air fryer. Please note: Driveway is sloped, with set of stairs to Guest Suite.
