Peace and tranquility await in this comfortable sanctuary on Hermans Island (attached to the mainland by a causeway), nestled between Lunenburg and Mahone Bay, a 12 minute drive to either. After a day of local adventure, relax in the quiet comfort of the nautically inspired ground floor studio suite, enjoy deer grazing in the backyard from your private patio or stroll to Lunenburg Yacht Club, only five minutes away, before melting into a blissful sleep in comfortable, cotton bed linens.

Cozy Cottage on South Shore. 30 min from Halifax!

A very cozy and peaceful place to base any vacation on the South Shore out of. Very close to hiking and ATV trails. No visible neighbors from the yard, lots of wildlife. Large parking areas. Interior is a mixture of new and re purposed materials. Appliances are small but functional, all the comforts of home but smaller. Double bed is incredibly comfortable. Newly built in 2021 as a place to hideaway in nature. Set on a private wooded 9 acre lot with lake access to Powers Pond. We have two Kayaks available for use. There are many walking trails on the property for you to explore nature! The contemporary and rustic features of the cottage highlight country living in Herring Cove Village, just 15 minutes to the city of Halifax. Stay put and relax in the hot tub or Herring Cove has hiking, sight seeing, ocean views, and local places to eat.

This bright oceanfront chalet/cabin is secluded, quiet and all about nature, 20 minutes from Halifax. There are 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, 2 floors with a deck right on the ocean. The chabet is open concept, modern, and finished with hardwood floors, copper accents and all the basic comforts. The location makes it ideal for hiking, yoga, relaxing and oceanfront living. The house is 1300 ft2. There is a heat pump for heating and cooling, the woodstove is not for guest use.

It’s also a great location to bike/ hike/drive the Lighthouse Route and Rails to Trails. Lunenburg, Mahone Bay, Chester and Bridgewater have some amazing local eateries, craft breweries, local wineries and lots of shops. A quick drive to the free ferry ride gets you to the LaHave bakery, crafts, pottery, art galleries and many beaches.
