Welcome to our lovingly renovated family home. This 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom house was originally built by my parents. It has been thoughtfully updated for a comfortable stay. You will find a kitchen and dining area that’s perfect for cooking,sharing meals or gathering over coffee. The kitchen is stocked with everything you need for a comfortable stay . The area is rural and quiet. The property is not fully fenced in. SORRY NO CATS Dog Friendly - Dog should be house trained, no fleas, and up to date on all vacations. We also ask for honesty, in letting us know if you are bring a pet. Our area is Close several popular lakes, hunting areas, and wineries

The Potel Tiny Home 14x40

Tiny home nestled on the edge of the Shawnee National Forest. A cozy one bedroom with full closet and stacked washer and dryer the bed is a full size. Kitchen with stove, fridge and microwave. It does not have a dishwasher. Living room has a smart TV sign in to your Netflix, Sling, YouTube TV etc. Wi-fi provided. No cable. Full bathroom with shower unit. Some of our guest has said sitting on the porch watching the beautiful sunsets each night was an added bonus for staying with us.

It has a separate outside entrance with its own keypad lock. The loft has a fully-stocked kitchen, dining room, living room, smart TV, laundry room, bathroom, & 3 bedrooms. We have been been married and lived in Shawneetown for the past 50 years. The Paddock at 1208 - Simplicity, Style & Comfort

The Paddock at 1208 is a house that was built in the 1920's. Former owner was a pharmacist and racing horse trainer hence the name and decor. There is a sister house across the street, The Choisser Burnett House which sleeps six and is also on Airbnb.com. Twenty minutes minutes south is the  Shawnee National Forest whose terrain spans woodlands, hills and lakes and it's wildlife includes bald eagles.
