Downhill skiing and xc trails abound and horse drawn sleigh rides nearby.

Tattrie's Cottge on Opal Lake provides a unique lakefront summer experience in Northern Michigan. Opal Lake is regarded as the cleanest, freshest lake in Otsego County and one of the nicest small lakes in Michigan. Tattrie's is located in the woods with a large side-lot, a picnic table, a fire pit and plenty of privacy. While the focus is beautiful Opal Lake, out back there are paved and dirt roads and paths for walking and exploring. Opal Lake is a wonderful place to spend a summer week!!

We have a beautiful built 1000 sq ft Aframe! Recently installed a 100 inch theater system in the livingroom! Cabin is in Lakes of the North, which offers a perfect getaway for the outdoorsman. Side by Side trails! We offer 2 kayaks to use (must transport) cornhole boards & bags, trail riding your UTV/ORV, hiking, rafting at Jordan Valley Outfitter, snowmobiling. & many fine dining restaurants, several ski resorts and short day trips! Additionally, a 90 jet hottub for ultimate relaxation!

Cottage 7 | Cozy Cabin for Two on the Lake

Fresh remodel - May 2025! Welcome to Cottage 7 on Heart Lake. This has 1 bed/1 bath accommodating up to 2 guests. The cottage includes a full kitchen stocked with all cookware, silverware, and dining utensils. In the summer guests will have access to shared kayaks, canoes, paddle boards, water trampoline, swim platform, and bonfire pit. In the winter, guests can access Trail 7, directly across the road, for snowmobile season. It's the perfect place for your northern Michigan getaway!
