Head down to the private pond to try your luck at fishing (no license required) or paddle boarding. If you need to warm up, use the sauna or the outdoor hot tub year round. This unique place has a style of its own. It’s newly renovated and has lots of charm, yet fully functional for both short and extended stays. It has a full, eat-in “kitchenette” including a dishwasher, a clothes washer/dryer in the unit, good size bathroom and private bedroom w/ a FULL size bed. This apartment is located in a historic building near downtown area and it has a private entrance with its own patio. It has a huge front yard with fire pit, a picnic table and free parking areas.

Resting on Star Lake and tucked into the north woods, this tiny home offers the tranquility you need to completely decompress. The Sasquatch Shores cabin is right on Star Lake, a quiet no wake lake that gives you the peace and quiet you want. Watch the sunset off of the dock or cast a line into the water! The cabin is also situated right on the ATV trail. The main offers a King sized bed and the guest room offers a Queen/Twin Loft bed. There is also sectional couch as a sleeping option!

Scenic Loon Lake, a great place to stay anytime of the year! Great pan fish, large mouth bass & northern pike fishing year round! Awesome outdoor hangouts for a fun & relaxing vacation. Hit the trails right from the cabin. The snowmobile trail comes right through our property. The cabin is located on 7 acres and surrounded by thousands of acres of public hunting land. Wintergreen Cabin #1 on Moen Lake Chain

When you think Northern WI cabin stay, this is exactly what they should be. Small 700 square foot cabin sitting on the Moen Lake Chain just a few miles east of Rhinelander. Easy access via blacktop road that takes you right to the place. It offers 56 ft of water frontage. A small public boat landing right in front, makes it easy to get on and off the water. A new dock to tie it up for the evening on those summer stays, and drive out (at own risk) on the ice for those winter months.

Nestled on a large .82-acre lot across the street from Summit Lake Beach, this property offers excellent fishing, boating, and swimming right outside your door. Visit Jack Lake or Veterans Memorial Park for peaceful outdoor fun, all within 10 miles. This is a perfect retreat for outdoor enthusiasts seeking a quiet, nature-filled escape.

The Loft Above the Barn, Tamarack Moon,

Our place is a back-to-nature farm setting. . You’ll love our place because of the rustic location, the farm ambiance, and the beautiful outdoors. The Loft is comfortable and has one queen bed, one standard double bed and a couch. There is a bathroom with sink, toilet, and shower. Dogs are welcome with prior approval/notification and there is a $15 dollar cleaning fee. Dogs must be leashed at all times for their safety (See further information under Neighborhood description)

(Must walk up a handful of outdoor stairs) Unique, peaceful, and affordable - Daniel’s Place is 3 blocks from the Riverlife walking path, leading directly to downtown, and 3 miles away from Granite Peak Ski Resort. Daniel’s Place is the perfect spot for weekend ski trips, city biking, trying local restaurants, farmers markets, kayaking, and exploring the city of Wausau. Come make yourself at home 🙂

Genuine log cabin with all the comforts needed for a relaxing getaway to nature. Privacy, room to roam. Huge firepit area with abundant seating. Good fishing. Spectacular fall foliage. Winter-direct access to snowmobile trails or stay cozy indoors in front of the fireplace. There are a few taxidermy species mounted on walls. Board games. Three TVs. Dish Network and Internet. Not a good swimming lake but other lakes for swimming and boating within 5-10 minutes away.
