The beaches of Charlestown, Porthpean, Pentewan and Carlyon Bay are just a ten minute drive away. It's a great location from which to explore the sights of Cornwall. There is even a cycle path in the village which you can take to visit the Eden project. St Austell Train station is 1.6 miles, Newquay Airport is 14 miles .

Palm Tree Cottage

Palm Tree Cottage is located between the historic port of Charlestown and St Austell and backs onto a lovely park in a quiet residential area close to the coast. The south coast beaches of Porthpean, Pentewen, Par and Carlyon Bay are within 10-20 minutes drive. Within walking distance of the cottage is the beautiful harbour village of Charlestown with its bars and restaurants and access to the SW coast path, a large supermarket 5 minutes away and the train and bus stations for local travel.

Great for a romantic getaway or a family holiday. it is situated in a wonderful area within walking distance of the historic village of Charlestown . It is surrounded by beautiful coastal paths which lead to tucked away Cornish coves and beaches. Little Polmear is set within the grounds of the main 1930's house where the owners are available. It has off road parking, and a terrace which boasts green open views across sports fields.

We are also very close to the train and bus routes to the rest of Cornwall and local attractions (such as Charlestown, The Eden project and The lost gardens of Heligan to name but a few) so guests do not necessarily need to drive to make the most of their stay.

Once the Post Office to a private estate, the house now offers incredible volume, space and breathtaking views over St Austell bay. The house is ideally located for many of Cornwalls attractions - The Eden Project, The Lost Gardens of Helligan, and Charlestown. The popular towns of Fowey, Mevagissey, Looe, Truro, Padstow, Newquay and Port Isaac are 40 minutes drive.
