The Courtyard Room sits upstairs within Ratho Park Steading: a stunning Scottish courtyard stable (built 1826; converted 2021). It borders Ratho Park Golf club (area of outstanding beauty), a walk from the heart of Ratho village, 8miles from Edinburgh centre. The large room is stylishly furnished (super king size bed), tv/wifi, and heated through ground source. The property has off-road parking with use of/ views into a beautiful courtyard. Breakfast is a cold self-served buffet in the 'Den'.

The picturesque village of Town Yetholm is an ideal base to explore the Borders: 200m from St Cuthberts Way; 1km from the Pennine Way; 24 miles from Lindesfarne. Rubislaw rooms have coffee & tea facilities, hair dryer, TV, wifi, gardens, deck & outdoor seating. Rooms have double beds, but an additional single bed or cot can be added on request. Only a 15 minute walk to the beach and the costal path, with all the wonderful scenery and walks, an abbey, plus a beautiful sandy beach, marine reserve and nearby fishing harbour town.

A snug cottage bedroom at Larriston Farm - a mid 19th century farm steading around a cobbled courtyard. We're in a very rural setting, 20-25 minutes' drive from Kielder Water, the observatory and also Newcastleton. Dogs welcome.
