The Depot B & B: A Peaceful Retreat

Just minutes from campus, downtown, and the airport, The Depot is a historic home attached to 5 wooded acres, a lake, and a "big sky" view across the prairie for watching sunsets and night skies. Originally a train depot constructed in 1857, it has been fully modernized for contemporary living. However, we have taken great effort to preserve its rustic charms that Abraham Lincoln would have known during his circuit riding days before the Civil War. These include graffiti from 1917.

Our 2-bedroom, 1-bathroom, quaint craftsman home is in downtown Urbana. The home has been restored to the era when Roger Ebert lived there — according to details in chapter 1 of his autobiography, “Life Itself.” We're a 12-minute drive to downtown Champaign + a 5-minute drive to the U of I campus. We're happy to host families, too! Find a Mid Century Modern style complete with books written by Ebert; his school yearbooks from Urbana High; + more Illini and Urbana-centric nostalgia.

Fully renovated, cozy, and with ample amenities. Centrally located in Urbana, Illinois. Just 2 miles from the University of Illinois campus, 10 minutes away from downtown champaign, and a short walk away from multiple parks. Designed for entertaining with an open concept living area, 70" tv, and a saltwater pool out back. Access to many games, bags set, and bbq grill out back. Pool will be open Memorial day to Labor day. House also has an electric car charger free to use.

This clean, comfortable, single family home is located in an established residential neighborhood and is ideal for short or longer term visitors to the University of Illinois, or any other attraction in Champaign-Urbana. It is a 5 minute drive to the University, its stadium and other sports complexes, and the State Farm Event Center. As you'll see from the attached photos, the cozy house is tastefully furnished with everything you need for your stay.

Our Home is in a quiet cul-de-sac in west Urbana just minutes away from U of I campus/stadium, State Farm Center, and hospitals; as well as golf course/driving range, restaurants, and shopping. This home has everything you will need for a comfortable stay; whether it’s for a long weekend or a month long stay. There is a king bed in master and queen bed in the guest room with extra pillows/blankets and the bathrooms are well stock.

Welcome to your perfect home away from home! Our cozy and stylish home with 3 bedrooms and 1 bathroom is ideally located just a 5-minute walk from campus and Carl Hospital, making it the perfect choice for students, professionals, and families. Plus, a bus station is just a minute away, ensuring you have all the convenience you need for exploring the area. Moreover, enjoy complimentary biking service for easy local exploration.

Willis House is located in a safe, older neighborhood, with tree lined streets and deeply shaded yards. Great shopping, city parks, and the University of Illinois are a short drive away. You are close to a lively downtown area that has many great bars, restaurants and live music. The neighborhood is very quiet and inhabited by long term home owners who look out for each other.
