Iconic 17th Century Thatched Cottage

Enjoy the beautiful garden in the summer sunshine or hunker down next to the fire in the winter, Hoo Cottage has it all! It is one of the few thatched Cotswold Stone properties, tucked away in the idyllic village of Chipping Campden. We have done our best to bringing out the distinctive character of this historic property, while furnishing it in a luxurious rustic style. The history of the cottage is still up to debate. However, we have found evidence of it playing a role as the village bakery.

Kingham is a highly sought after village in the heart of the Cotswolds. With a wealth of brilliant pubs and wonderful countryside walks on our doorstep, you can bring your dog along to enjoy too. The Kingham Plough and The Wild Rabbit, are a short walk away. Daylesford Organic Farm Shop and Bamford club a longer walk/short drive.

Recently decorated with Farrow and Ball colours, our home has many designer touches, as well as a collection of art and photography books. Beautifully renovated 17th cent cottage. Situated in Sheep Street Charlbury, a few doors down from The Bull Inn. Peaceful, tranquil and centrally-located. Double bedroom (super-king size), bathroom, large living room, dining room and kitchen. Private south facing back garden, with stone walls and apple trees. This is an old property with low doorways between rooms and a very steep stair case with hand rail (See pictures.) It is not suitable for those with restricted mobility.
