Our fully furnished glamping tents are tucked along the creek & designed for a peaceful, restorative stay. Inside, each tent features a memory foam queen bed, wood-burning stove, private pump sink, kitchenette, battery-powered lanterns, and charging stations. Outside, enjoy your own fire pit, two Adirondack chairs, and a large cooler—everything you need to relax, recharge, and feel right at home in nature. It’s the simplicity of camping, elevated with the comfort and style of a boutique retreat.

This spacious 16’ Avalon Bell tent blends nature & comfort, tucked beneath trees & setback in a private corner of our property. You’ll find a traditional queen & twin bed; clean linens & pillows provided. A fold down velvet sofa is perfect for children or small adult. 2 convertible lounge chairs can be used as individual single sleepers or pushed together for a larger shared bed. Camping @ Zigzag Mountain Farm

Located about an hour from Portland at Mount Hood’s base, Zigzag Mountain Farm offers 50 acres of meadows and forest, bordering a national forest. Camp in your own tent, van, or camper; stay in one of eight yurts, a rent-a-tent, the original two-bedroom homestead cabin, or our tiny house. The farm has an organic garden, communal campfire circle, picnic areas, a campers’ kitchen in a converted city bus, outdoor seating with BBQs, a kids’ play structure, hiking trails, and a year-round creek.

On hot summer days you’ll find the temperature under the orchard canopy almost 10 degrees cooler at the heat of the day. Fir Song Hideaway awaits you! This canvas walled tent offers glamours a wood burning stove, solar battery power pack, 5 gallon jug of fresh water, a kitchenette with a hot plate, fully furnished, and much more! The large secluded provides an up close natural experience. With a fire pit, picnic table, hammock, and a nice sitting spot next to the creek. The creek flows year round, just feet from the spacious 16 x 21 feet Davis canvas safari tent. We also have farm animals.

Nelson Mountain Gardens is 50 acres of gardens and forest offering organic homesteading in the Orchard/Blueberry patch and vegetable garden in an eco-inspired setting and opportunity to interact with the farm animals or explore the lush forests surrounding the campground. Our sauna is a restorative experience. Our focus is a connection with nature thru meditative moments that are easily discovered in the sitting areas within our gardens.

Lower Stargazer Tent

This site is home to the awesome 20-foot diameter Stargazer tent (new one will be put up for the 2026 season), where you can see the night sky from your bed. :) It also has a platform with a canopy for shade and a picnic table nearby.
