Craigiehall Temple (historic property built 1759)

Make your trip to Edinburgh truly memorable with a stay at Craigiehall Temple. Built in 1759 and situated in its own grounds on a former part of the Craigiehall Estate, its Grade A listed for its stunning portico displaying the arms of the 1st Marquess of Annandale. A plaque on the wall carries a quote from Horace: "Dum Iicet in rebus jucundis vive beatus", "Live happy while you can among joyful things". We hope that a stay at the Temple will deliver this experience and stay true to this vision

A few minutes walk from the property is Kilrenny Common where you will find lovely walks and a play park. Just over 1 mile away is the shore front in Anstruther which boasts pubs, restaurants and some famous fish and chips! The University Town and home of golf, St Andrews, is 9 miles away and Edinburgh just over 1 hour.

Westbourne comprises of a spacious living area with well provided kitchenette, and a wood burning stove keeping you warm on a cold winters day. Next door is a large but warm bedroom, with king size bed, and an en suite bathroom. Westbourne is situated in the small, peaceful village of Kilrenny, and a short walk from Anstruther harbour and the Fife coastal path.

This 1830s charming cottage has a front and back garden with stunning sea views. It's a short wander to the beach. Enjoy the large fully enclosed gardens while looking at the sea. We have just completed new interiors, with 2 bedrooms both with king-sized beds (UK) and soft white sheets throughout. A Nespresso coffee machine, hardwood floors, mini barbecue, and local art on the walls allow you to indulge in a seaside cottage with the feel of a hotel. We have parking on site.

The Cow Pads are fully insulated, 90% powered by green energy from the farm, have incredible countryside views and a delightful decking area. Cow Pad Gertie has an outdoor heated bath, festoon lights and patio area.
