Welcome to our cabin on Lake Michigan. Our cabin sits near the end of a dead end road and is very peaceful and quiet. At the end of the road is a historic county park. The cabin sleeps up to 8 guests and has all the amenities of home! Relax on the deck, take the kayaks for a spin, enjoy a fire indoors or out, or ride our bikes. Play games late into the night. Take a refreshing dip in the lake, cool off in the outdoor shower, listen to the waves, soak in the sunrise from the chairs at the rocky beach, enjoy the hot tub, roast marshmallows around the fire pit, grill up your favorite picnic foods; all while taking in the 100 feet of private lakeshore. This house is just steps from a public beach, 230-slip marina, parks, beaches, restaurants, bars and shopping. You can park your car and never have to drive, enjoying the scenery, shopping, swimming and dining. The TV has local channels only, no cable. Menominee is 50 miles north of the city of Green Bay on the bay of Green Bay. Door County is a 2-hour car ride and an hour boat ride across from Menominee. This is a cute 3-bedroom, 1.5 bath house in downtown Menominee on a quiet street.

Our cottage is situated on the “quiet side” of Door County on the meandering Glidden drive along the Lake Michigan shoreline. The cottage is perched upon a small hill and surrounded by pine trees in a relaxed country setting. Guests have dedicated access to Lake Michigan right across the street. The sand beach provides for an excellent location for kayaking, sunbathing, swimming, and walks. Glidden Cottage is only five miles from Sturgeon Bay.
