The cottage is connected to our home. There is a door which is locked at all times. Our water has tested good for drinking but bottled water is provided.

The Firehouse Stay and Play

Why stay in an ordinary house when you could stay in a fully renovated Firehouse? Located just 10 minutes from the lower entrance of Ricketts Glenn State Park, the firehouse was established in the 1940’s and operated as a full functioning Fire Station before recently being converted into living quarters. The fully renovated unit can house 10 guests and has retained features of it former purpose. The whole family will enjoy their stay at our newly remodeled Firehouse.

The cabin has many modern amenities - wifi, air conditioning, DISH TV, fully stocked kitchen (utensils, place settings, glasses, cooking utensils, pots/pans), outdoor fire pit, large screened in porch, hammock, and gas grill. No cleaning fee. Have fun with the whole family at this stylish place.

This completely restored Cottage is all season and is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, and families (with kids). We are a short distance from Ricketts Glen State Park & Lake Jean, many covered bridges, Bell Bend Power Station, Bloomsburg State University & Geisinger Medical Center.

Enjoy staying in a completely updated, historic one room schoolhouse less than two miles from Ricketts Glen State park. Upstairs are two private bedrooms, one with a king bed and one with a queen bed. Downstairs features an open space with a full kitchen, queen murphy bed, living space, full bathroom, mudroom, and chalkboard.
