We are 20 min from Terre Haute (Indiana State U.), 20 min from Raccoon Lake for swimming and boating and an hour from Indianapolis. We have ample parking for your boat and trailer! Close to all Covered Bridge Festival activities.

The 1938 Barn

The 1938 Barn is located in the ❤ of Covered Bridge Country in Parke County. You will love the rustic charm of this converted hay barn built in 1938. Come relax by the camp fire or explore our many Covered Bridges and local State Parks. The farm also hosts Henry's Market, a market garden providing fresh meat and vegetables which makes summertime an excellent time to visit! Please note: There is NO WI-FI, NO CABLE. We have a selection of DVDs. Limited cell service, AT&T works best.

The Getaway House with Hot Tub and Pool

Enjoy the beautiful hot tub year round with the woods as your view, along with a screened-in area on the back deck and a semi-inground, heated swimming pool! Roasting marshmallows over a campfire is perfect for those cool evenings on the large concrete fire pit (firewood is available, free of charge). We have off street parking and a very large back yard. 2 bedrooms with a pull out sofa so it could sleep 5. Very cozy and clean. Easy commute to universities, restaurants, casino and Indianapolis is just a little over an hour away.

Captain Bill’s Lake House. This majestic A-frame is at the entrance to the Cataract Lake boat ramp. The house will accommodate up to 7 guests, with three bedrooms and two full baths. All guests have full access to Captain Bill’s shared heated salt water pool and surrounding gardens. Boat parking is available on the property, inquire for details. Heated Salt Water Pool is seasonal beginning May 1, through September 30th.
