Somerville is the up and coming neighborhood in Boston with lots to do day and night.
Somerville is sort of the Brooklyn of Boston bordering the city of Cambridge. It is a very walkable, hip, and fun town that is packed to the gills with history, breweries and a wonderful range of restaurants from the extremely high end to the extremely low end. The city has a number of wonderful grocery stores, markets and places to get coffee or otherwise sit and watch the world walk (or bike, or skate, or train, or unicycle) by.

I think Somerville is the most underrated neighborhood in Boston! Imo it has the best restaurants (think quirky, local charm over trendy IG-ready places) and bars such as Dear Annie, Backbar, Sarma, and any place in Bow Market. The only downside is it is not very T-accessible. Your best bet is ubering.
Somerville is a city located directly to the northwest of Boston, and north of Cambridge, in Middlesex County, Massachusetts, United States. As of the 2020 United States Census, the city had a total population of 81,045 people.
