Like to climb, scramble up rocks, sled down a packed trail or summit a peak that looks over the whole valley? Rock Canyon has it all for outdoor rec. .8 miles up the trail is a natural drinking fountain that runs all summer. 1.5 miles and you will hit all 5 bridges. Enjoy the spring run-off or the winter sled - hike up a mile and slide all the way down. Or if you have time, hike to the top of Rock Canyon Peak (Squaw Peak).

If you love a casual uphill stroll while being surrounded by gorgeous rock formations, this is the hike for you. I would say it's beginner to moderate hike. It's all up hill, but nothing to strenuous.

You can see waterfalls, rock climbing, and mountain goats. It is peaceful and is usually partially shaded. It's a great place to go even during hot days.
