The Heathcote Wine Region adjoins the Bendigo Region to the west. The Shiraz grape is the main planting. Visitors to the region can taste the wines and meet the winemakers at cellar doors all year round. Go exploring and visit some of these beautiful wineries – each one has not only a unique story, but also a special twist on the varieties that grow in the region.

Heathcote Wine & Food Festival is just one of many food & wine festivals to experience, held annually in October. Taste Heathcote wines from over 40 producers & regional foods. Other festivals to note through the year are ‘Heathcote on Show’, ‘Vibes & Vino’, 'Sanguine Estate Chamber Music Festival', ‘Burke & Wills 4 Days Folks Festival’, ‘Bendigo Blues & Roots Festival’ to name a few. Our festivals are due to recommence from March 2021.
