Explore the Venice of Netherlands on a day trip to Giethoorn. Don’t forget to book the boat or tours in advance. It’s accessible via public transport, but you can also book the day trip via Get your Guide or other similar platforms.

Giethoorn. Distance: 100 km. The village with around 2,620 inhabitants is unique in the Netherlands: lots of water, arched bridges and vonders. The farms are on islands. Giethoorn therefore has various nicknames such as the small green Dutch Venice. Among foreign tourists, Giethoorn is primarily known as the village without streets. Are you tired of all that water or do you want to combine sailing, then rent a bike.
