We love Helen's. Betty, the owner is fantastic. It's a local favorite and feeds many visiting the area too. Get ready for down home Southern style cooking and a wonderful staff. Betty loves her employees and their happy attitudes and great service shines through as they serve you. The menu is fairly large and they still are happy to take special requests. The Southern vegetable plate is excellent and if you like a good dose of carbs - try a fried chicken ranch wrap.

Helen's is a historical local restaurant in Bakersville. The food is great with a nice menu ~ everything from grilled chicken salads and homemade chicken salad to pinto beans with onions and homemade cornbread. The folks are friendly and enjoy meeting new guests.
