Bondi till Coogee Walk

One of the nicest cliff-top coastal walks you’ll ever enjoy, it’s the first thing I get visiting friends and family to do when they arrive in Sydney. It’s about 6 km from Coogee to Bondi, and you can stop along the way at various beaches and coves for a swim. Know that it’s particularly busy when the Sculpture by the Sea event is on in October/November. If you’re driving, park in Coogee because spots there are easier to find than in Bondi. I always walk from Coogee to Bondi and back again (about 12 km), early in the morning, before the crowds form, then go for breakfast. Try Coogee Pavilion for good coffee with a water view.

One of Sydney’s most iconic walks, taking in beautiful beaches, cliff tops and great cafes along the way. The 6km walk takes two to three hours, depending on how often you stop, but you can also allow a full day to do the walk and enjoy a swim at each of the beaches en route.

A must-do for anyone visiting Sydney. Walk from Coogee to Bondi (or Bronte if you'd like a shorter walk).

The walk from Bondi to Coogee along the cliffs is one of the world most spectacular walks (duration 2-2.5 walks). When arriving in Coogee we recommend lunch at Coogee Pavillion. Or if you want an hour long walk Bronte has a great selection of cafes too.

The perfect walk along the coastline, end your trip at Coogee Pavillion where you can have a delicious meal in this very cool eatery… if the 2 hour walks too far, Bronte is an hour with great cafes too.
