In bar-lined Deep Ellum, the Green Room is a go-to spot for rooftop cocktails, a fun crowd and excellent pub grub (tacos, burgers, poutine). There's also live music – currently Wednesday nights. - Lonely Planet

Cool rooftop patio, and super cheap drinks. It's a dive bar, so don't go if you're looking for something fancy.
