Looking for the best seafood restaurant in town? Look no further than Thirsty Mermaid. Located only 2 blocks from the BNB, they provide the freshest seafood dishes and cold water oysters! The owner catches all of the specials that day so you will always know it is fresh as it gets. They are open for lunch and dinner & do not take reservations.

One block from Ambrosia! The Thirsty Mermaid features a selection of oysters from the East and West coasts rotating daily, a full raw bar, fresh local seafood, USDA Prime burgers, and an extensive list of craft beers and wines.

The owner of Thirsty Mermaid is a fisherman and hits the ocean each morning to bring fresh fish everyday. Keep an eye on the specials as that is what he brought in that day! Located 2 blocks from us and a half block off Duval, they offer beer, wine, and a mainly seafood oriented menu. Very romantic and intimate and is perfect for a romantic dinner. Doesn't take reservations, happy hour 4-6pm.
