Amazing experience! Not many locals know about this one. You go into an enclosure with a wolf pack. It is incredible and the staff is very informative. There are rules for what you can wear, a height restriction, and age restriction so please read their website. Not many people can say they were in the middle of a wolf pack.

This is a rare chance to have in person encounters with wolves. It does require reservations and you canspend several hours. We took in the whole experience including pictures with the wolves (the wolves LOVE people with facial hair and I have the slobber as evidence) entering both the Grey Wolf and the Arctic Wolf enclosures to learn and interact with the wolves. Don't miss the foxes and raccoons and other small animals in their own enclosure...

I highly recommend visiting the wolf preserve if you have enough time during your stay. As far as I know, it's the only place in the world like it. You actually interact with the wolves - you walk into their habit with them, feed them, pet them, sometimes they will lay on your lap... It's definitely intimidating, but well worth it!

This place is only open on Saturdays for tours. If you happen to be here, it is worth the visit. You do have to call in advance for the tour. It takes maybe 2 to 4 hours, but it really is a wolf encounter. I have seen similar tours in Washington for $175.00. Give them a call! Not for children under 8, I believe.
