Lovely walks around here just down the road and in walking distance from the cottage. This is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and within walking distance

a little further afield but worth the trip if you like interesting walks. Lots of ramshackled buildings as you walk around the disused quarry with a lake at its centre ( not for swimming in!) A photographers dream
