Be sure to catch a Cannon firing (and also the occasional musket and blunderbust firing demonstration!) Epic views on top of and inside the Castillo (also called "The Fort") NOTE: You can walk right up to the walls down in the "dry moat" 24/7, and even along the sea wall barrier in front of it, including night time. Great place to be on the water!

The Castillo de San Marcos is the oldest masonry fort in the continental United States. Located on the western shore of Matanzas Bay in the city of St. Augustine, Florida, the fort was designed by the Spanish engineer Ignacio Daza.
