Classic East Van vegetarian stalwart. Play area for kids and tasty breakfast, smoothies, burgers, organic ales, and baked goods. Late night events like Poetry slams and live music.

They have excellent vegetarian food at a very fair price. They also have slam poetry and open mic in the evenings. Busy place but very casual and relaxed. Kid friendly too!

Another Commercial Drive must visit. Go for brunch, or stay for an evening poetry slam. Also great place to have a meal with kids during the week.
