Downtown is where you'll find the tourist attractions! The Great Wheel, Skyview Observatory (go here if you want a 360 degree view of downtown and the Sound!), Pike Place Market, and more restaurants than you could ever plan to visit. We like to walk around downtown and see what place looks fun to…
Downtown Seattle is home to Pike Place market, the vast shopping district, business district and lots of cute bars and restaurants.
Seattle is about 45 minutes away in non traffic time. Its so fun and so much to do.
Downtown Seattle borders Belltown and is where Pike Place market lives. The Pike Place area can be where a lot of homeless people hang out, so i suggest visiting during the day.

“Just walking up and down Broadway will give you a great sense of the classic Seattle Grunge culture. Referenced in the famous Sir-Mix-a-Lot song "Posse on Broadway," it's the center of Capitol Hill. Notice the passersby, the local shops, eateries, and record shops. Start north of Madison Ave and walk up to Roy. Take a left on Roy and explore Harvard Ave E. and Boylston. The Capitol Hill street car runs up and down Broadway if you prefer not to walk.”

“ PHINNEYRIDGE (one of the last free-parking neighborhoods) - Hilltop street literally brimming with storefronts: coffee-houses, icecream, restaurants, shops, boutiques, grocery, yoga, community center, library, etc. Also home of the award winning zoo (where the roaring lions and whooping gibbons can be heard from my front door) and the enormous Woodland Park - consisting of nature trails, picnic areas, ballfields, tennis courts, golf course, off-leash park, skate-park, and more!”
