There is a rich history of film making in the park and the surrounding desert. Many of the spaghetti westerns were made here as well as Laurence of Arabia, Star Wars, Sexy Beast (shot in Agua Amarga itself) to name but a few...At Oasys Mini Hollywood they have preserved some of the sets from the westerns and have created a theme park that is perfect for a family day out. There are cancan shows, a Western style shoot out show, and plenty of recreated 'Western' style establishments to walk around. There is also a zoo attached to the site and the price of the ticket includes all the attractions. Perfect for a day when the sun is hiding behind a cloud or if you want a break from the beach.

A day out in Mini Hollywood Oasys Theme Park... 49 minutes by car. Originally known as Yucca City, the set was designed by Carlo Simi and built for Sergio Leone's For a Few Dollars More in 1965. It was also used as a set for other films, such as The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly. After filming of The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly was completed, the extras in the project bought the set and ran it as a tourist attraction. They were later bought out by a hotel group. The park features daily cowboy stunt shows, such as a mock bank raid and a re-enactment of the final moments of Jesse James. It also has a swimming complex, abandoned gold mine, Cowboy style saloon, a Fun Barn for children's activities, a zoo with birds and big cats in cages and many mock western stores. The Doctor Who episode "A Town Called Mercy" was filmed here and at Fort Bravo/Texas Hollywood.
