Amazing views, good up hill walk, giving you a great overview of the city. I recommend having a coffee at 'El Parador' or 'La Terracita de Glibralfaro' after your visit to the fortress.

Outstanding view of the city, a beautiful hike with views of the port, Plaza de Toros, cathedral, etc. You can walk up or take a bus. Enter the castle, it just cost 2eur.

Gibralfaro Castle was built in the 14th century to house troops and protect the Alcazaba. The Gibralfaro fortress dominates the whole city and is situated on the crest of a long rise located 132 m above sea level, whose steep slopes descend toward the sea and toward the city. Summer hours - 9.00 AM to 8.00 PM from April 1 to October 31. Winter hours - 9.00 a.m. to 6.00 p.m. from November 1 to March 31. Prices start from €3,50
