Avis has one of the best and most efficient services to rent cars. We only recommend this option if you're leaving the city. Inside Lisbon, always use public transportation.

Lots of car rental companies operate out of Lisbon airport: highly recommend checking whether collection/return is actually on the airport site: plenty are and it's much more convenient than the off-site options especially late at night or with young children.
