The Strath is one of our night-life hubs that comes to life in the summer. Check out the Rooftop for beach volleyball, especially on Fridays/ Sundays. Downstairs, Distrikt is one of our local music venues, that hosts many of the larger artists in town. Head to the Games room, at the Sticky Wicket, for an evening of bar/pool/darts.

Liquor store open until 11pm, numerous bars and restaurants. If you want colourful - try Big Bad Johns, they also have a rooftop patio.

The Strathcona is a hotel but is also many other things! It has a large Pub, It has a games room (Pool tables, darts), it has two nightclubs (one for a more sophisticated crowd and one for a younger crowd), It has a small Cantina called called 'Big Bad Johns' (bartenders wear overalls, peanut shells all over the floor and bras hanging on the ceiling!) and during the summer months, they have a rooftop patio bar with beach volleyball. $

Whether you like the pub, the club, or the rooftop terrace, the Strathcona has it all. Head up to the Rooftop for beach volleyball, stay inside at the Sticky Wicket to get out of the rain, or venture downstairs to Distrikt if you're into the club scene.
