A quick 10-15 minute drive west of Canmore and you will find yourself at the Canmore Nordic Centre Provincial Park, a fantastic starting point for many Alberta activities such as biking, cross-country skiing, and hiking! Remember to bring your Park Pass (complimentary at all of our vacation homes) if you’re driving in.
The Canmore Nordic Centre Provincial Park offers a variety of recreational activities including cross country skiing, biking, hiking, disk golf and orienteering. Host site of the 1988 Olympic Winter Games Nordic events, the Canmore Nordic Centre continues to host regional, national and international events year round.
Head to the Canmore Nordic Centre to enjoy cross country skiing in the winter and great hikes in the summer.

Beautiful facility to visit year round with views of of Canmore and surrounding mountains. There are over 6km of groomed trails for cross country skiing and 100km of trails for mountain biking and trail running in the summer. During the winter season, there is also biathlon, tobogganing, ice skating, winter disc golf, fat biking, and snowshoeing available. On site, you'll find a daylodge which provides lockers, a seating area, and a cafe. Rentals and lessons are also available.
