The Duck Walk Vineyard is 10 miles east of Hampton Bays. It is a 20-minute drive if you take the scenic route along the bay. The winery itself is situated on beautiful grounds. It's truly a beautiful place to taste some excellent Long Island wine and unwind. This is in the food category but it also should be considered under sightseeing. At certain parts of the day or evening, you may find traffic can make the 10-mile trip take a bit longer, but the views along the bay and passing by the farms as well as the Parish Art Museum make the trip worthwhile.

This is such a fun place to go for a wine tasting. Buy some of the cheese and crackers they sell to go along with your tasting and sit out on their lovely patio to listen to the live music they have during the summer. A very nice outing - especially following a visit to the Parrish Art Museum, which is next door.
