This large lake is a great place to spend the day outdoors and explore the natural beauty of Gatineau Park! With three sandy beaches, a large campground, boat rental facilities and plenty of hiking trails, your discovery options are nearly unlimited. A hike along the lake will take you to Lusk Cave, a superb example of a marble cave and a natural geological phenomenon.

Located just 15mins away from The Kubo, Lac Philippe is a great place to enjoy the beach and go hiking on the trails. You can also rent a canoe/kayak to explore the lake.

Hit up the beach, take a stroll on one of the many trails, go camping for a night, rent a boat and check out the lake, etc.

There's several lakes in the park but Lac Phillippe and Lac Taylor are our favourite. They have four season tents and yurts to stay in at reasonable prices. Either hike, snowshoe, cross-country ski or bike into your campsite and enjoy the nature and wildlife.
