The area has breath taking architecture from the Arabic and Portuguese settlement that once occupied the city. The area also offers the priased Swahili cuisine that always leaves you comming back for more.

I love just wondering the streets of Mombasa, taking photos of the old buildings, walking into shops like treasure troves selling all sorts and sampling all the different food stalls. You can also do Fort Jesus and have a nice Swahili or Indian lunch.
