Sandown boasts some of the Island's best beaches, with soft golden sand, shallow waters, beautiful views and some great beach side restaurants and cafes. In 2022 Sandown Beach was again awarded the internationally prestigious 'Blue Flag'. In order to qualify for the Blue Flag, a series of stringent environmental, educational, safety, and accessibility criteria must be met and maintained and Sandown have invested in Beach Lifeguards, beach cleaning, marker buoys and accessibility enhancements along with a number of other new projects. We are located just a 2 minute walk from the beach. Miles of sandy beach and safe swimming waters. Part of the beach is dog friendly all year round, with the entirety of the beach dog friendly out of season. Its one of our dog obis favourite places to go.

Sandown beach was voted the best beach in Britain in 2019 by BBC Countryfile! The two mile walk along Sandown Beach towards Shanklin Beach is simply stunning. You can walk along the sandy beaches or take the cliff path and enjoy the amazing views!
